This award is dedicated to corporate events of all types and sizes held over the past 18 months in Ireland that demonstrate a strong commitment to environmental sustainability and responsible practices. Examples of Organisations that should enter: In-house event teams from corporations and organisations who organised their own event. This award is not open to external event planning companies or agencies, however they can nominate their client to enter.
- Event Overview & Sustainability Strategy: Provide an overview of the event, including its purpose, objectives, client, event team, target audience, and strategic alignment with sustainability goals.
- Carbon Footprint Reduction: Show how the event minimised its environmental impact, e.g., through carbon offsetting, energy-efficient practices, sustainable transportation, or by other means.
- Innovation: Highlight innovative approaches used to reduce environmental impact.
- Environmental Impact Assessment: Present an assessment of the event's environmental footprint, including efforts to reduce waste and resource consumption.
- Sustainable Supplier Engagement: Summarise efforts to engage sustainable suppliers and vendors, emphasising eco-friendly products and ethical services.
- Measurable Sustainability Outcomes: Summarise quantifiable results and outcomes related to sustainability goals.
